Two weeks in a row! See, I can commit to things.
1. Boards of Canada vs. Jay-Z - RoyJAYbiv
This song is blasphemy. I am so sorry.
2. Okay - Loveless
This song has been a favorite ever since a friend of mine turned me on to Okay. Good, lo-fi music. Its kind of an acquired taste, I suppose. The fucking lyrics, though.
3. Ricky Nelson - Never Ever Be Anyone Else But You
Just good ole fashioned music. David knows what I mean.
4. Heavy Ghost - Honey Bees (demo)
This is a demo I made for Heavy Ghost that never really went anywhere. I like it. Heavy Ghost is back, by the way.
5. Say Hi To Your Mom - Impeccable Blahs
I dont know anything about this band except that they came up a lot on the Postal Service Pandora Station in High School and this song found it’s way onto a mix cd in High School. I still like the song.
6. Thomas Wayne - Tragedy
If this song was recorded today, it’d be considered shoegaze.
7. The Who - Tattoo
I have probably listened to The Who more than any other band. I was really into them in Jr. High. This is one of the only songs by them I can really stand to listen to anymore.
8. Dave Bixby - 666
There are two kinds of people in this world, those who like Dave Bixby and those who don’t know they like Dave Bixby yet.
